Managing a maintenance program is more challenging today than ever before. With limited resources to maintain spare parts inventory, the need to drive equipment 24/7, almost to the brink of failure it seems our customers demand we squeeze the last remaining drop out of the lemon. All this leads to very tight windows of opportunity in which to service our equipment so when that window appears we must be ready to act and execute with surgical precision. Equipment lists on spreadsheets and outlook calendars just don't cut it anymore.In today's economy unscheduled downtime or the ability to prevent it could be the difference between those companies that survive and those that don't.
